• Here’s all I know about the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Network. Hulu has it – now. Someone at Spectrum told me that Alabama is considered an outer market but it should show up on Channel 338 sometime between Sept. 6-9.
DirecTV reportedly has the ACC Network but I have yet to see it (I have DirecTV but I haven’t really searched for it). Conversations continue with Cox, Comcast and Dish.
• What a mess Hurricane Dorian is making. And I’m just talking about its effect on college football.
Because of the threat of Dorian, the Florida State-Boise State game scheduled for tonight in Jacksonville was first moved to an 11 a.m. start. Then the game itself was moved to Tallahassee.
The game was supposed to be televised on ESPN. Now, it’ll be shown on ESPN News. The 6:30 p.m. game on ESPN now is Georgia at Vandy. Georgia Southern at LSU will be the SEC Network game.
