Blake Westbrook made two interceptions and hauled in a 37-yard pass from QB Ian Garner for Brindlee Mountain’s lone score in a 44-6 loss to 3A, Region 7 foe Collinsville last Friday.

It was the Lions’ first game action since back-to-back forfeits against Douglas and Sylvania.

Brindlee Mountain plays three-time defending 3A state champion Fyffe tonight on the road. The Red Devils survived a defensive slugfest against Sylvania last week, 16-13, to extend their winning streak to 48 straight, the second longest streak in the country.

• On Tuesday night, the Brindlee Mountain Middle School team fell at Asbury, 30-0.
