The Juniors and Seniors were scheduled to clash in the World Championship Powder Puff game at Arab High School on Thursday, but the weather had other plans.

The title game was postponed until yesterday afternoon. See next week’s Tribunes for a game report and photos.

The Juniors eliminated the freshmen 20-0 earlier this as Elizabeth Brodhage scored twice and had one interception. Brodhage scored on runs of 43 and 50 yards while Natalie Hunt scored on a 48-yard interception return. Mattie Clark also scored on a two-point conversion.

The Sophomores and Seniors battled to a 0-0 tie in regulation but it was the Seniors who earned the championship date after QB Jasmine Davis connected with Taylor Maze on a 10-yard touchdown pass in overtime.
