Arab’s successful 2021 football season continues to get recognized by coaches and sports writers.

Three Knights made the All-Huntsville Region second team and three others were named honorable mention.

Defensive lineman Jonah Humphreys and linebacker Mitchell Duquette made second team, as did John Wes Johnson at athlete, recognizing his excellence on both sides of the ball. Wes Johnson earlier had been named second-team All-State in 6A by the Alabama Sports Writers Association.

Quarterback James Ed Johnson, defensive lineman Jonathan Pugh and linebacker Josh Roe were named honorable mention on the All-Huntsville team, which honors players from Jackson, Limestone, Madison, Marshall and Morgan counties.

Pugh and Duquette also were named to the 6A All-State team as honorable mentions.

The All-Huntsville team is compiled through nominations from area coaches and AL.com staff insights.
