Boaz scored late to make the final 38-27. The Pirates stayed close all game with a productive offense of their own, but a Kaiden Story fumble recovery on the Arab 31 late in the third quarter helped the Knights’ cause, as did a Dylan Morrow interception in the end zone with 6:34 to play.
Morrison had a 4-yard TD run with 4:15 left in the first quarter, then he passed to Gabe Norton for the two-point conversion.
With Arab (3-2) leading 8-6 in the second quarter, Morrison passed 28 yards to Caleb Perkins for a TD. Alldredge’s conversion run made it 16-6 but Boaz scored late in the half to make it 16-13.
Arab also scored a two-point conversion in the third quarter on pass from Morrison to Aiden Wooten.
