Woodrow Wilson Cantrell, 91, of Birmingham died Saturday, June 1, 2019, at his residence.

Mr. Cantrell was born Nov. 7, 1927, in Etowah County to Benjamin Franklin Cantrell and Plumer Cooley Cantrell. He married the former Eulene Miller on Dec. 3, 1947.

He retired from the shipping department at Square D.

He is survived by his wife: Eulene Cantrell; sons: Danny L. Cantrell, Steve W. Cantrell and Christopher A. Cantrell; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and six great, great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter: Gayle Lynanna Cantrell.

The funeral was at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Randy Blakely officiating. Burial was in Gilliam Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel directing.

Pallbearers were David L. Cantrell, Scott D. Cantrell, Tyler Cantrell, Johnathon D. Cantrell, Justin R. Cantrell, Jeremy L. Cantrell. Honorary pallbearer was Joshua L. Cantrell.
