Willie Campbell Wooten, 91, of the New Canaan Community of Arab died Friday, June 28, 2019.

Mrs. Wooten was the daughter of the Rev. Leonard Franklin Campbell and Mary Betty Feemster Campbell.

She was a faithful member of Arab First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for over 50 years. She enjoyed spending time in the garden and loved her family dearly.

She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law: Rex and Shirley Wooten, Rod and Anita Wooten and Rudy and Margie Wooten; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and very special friend: Barbara Holmes.

She is survived by three sons; Rex Wooten (Shirley), Rod Wooten (Anita), and Rudy Wooten (Margie), eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and her very special friend, Barbara Holmes.

The funeral was at 2 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2019, at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Arthur Feemster officiating. Burial was in New Canaan Cemetery in Arab with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel directing.

Pallbearers were Chris Wooten, Brian Wooten, Todd Wooten, Michael Mann, Chad Wooten, Chad Thrower, Brady Thrower, Adam Thrower and Glen Pumphrey.

Honorary pallbearers were Jack Hamilton, Paul Murphy and Chad Reaves.
