Shirley Jean Allred, 63, of the Hopewell community died Friday, July 26, 2019, at her residence.

Mrs. Allred was born April 25, 1956, in Marshall County to Charles Eugene and Alice Marie Stephens Shelton. She married Luther Edward Allred Sept. 14, 1971.

She was a homemaker and member of Summit Church.

She is survived by her husband: Luther Allred; son: Edward Lee Allred; daughters and son-in-law: April Marie and Maximo Jimenez, and Cindy Mae Allred; sisters and brothers-in-law: Lisa and Keith Peak, Rita and Tim Shaneyfield and Susam and Tim Maze; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson.

The funeral was at 4 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2019, at Gober Funeral Chapel with Jimmy Cole and Russell Pinyan officiating. Burial was in Hopewell Cemetery with Gober Funeral Chapel directing.

Pallbearers were Yance Stephens, Hubert Stephens, Shawn Chandler, Shawn Shelton, Josh Dia and Levi Chandler.
