Sarah Louise Sides, 88, died Monday, Oct. 18, 2021, due to an illness.

Mrs. Sides was born June 2, 1933, in Alabama to Lillian Johns and Robert Faulkner.

She moved to Huntsville, Alabama in 1962. She was a homemaker and a member of the Gilliam Springs Baptist Church in Arab.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-n-law: Teresa and Bruce Belyea of Huntsville, Regina and John Abell of Toney; son and daughter-in-law: Richard and Jamie Sides of Arab; sisters and brother-in-law: Jeanette Pitts, Eunice Jenkins, Judy and David Frost and Gwen and Stanley Hughston; brother: Bobby Faulkner; grandchildren and in-law: Brooke and Bogachan Sahin, Bridgett and Robert Walker, Britt Belyea, Bradley and Sommai Sides, Adam Sides and Sarah and Jordon Sowards; great-grandchildren: Atesh Sahin, Deniz Sahin, Addison Sides, Tanner Sides, Brad Lee Sides and Aubrie Sowards; and many nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her brothers and sister-in-law: J.W. and Mary Faulkner and Larry Faulkner.

The graveside service was at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021, at Gilliam Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Tony Fleming officiating and Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel directing.
