Sandra Mick Chambers, 78, of Arab died Monday, Aug. 24, 2020.

Mrs. Chambers was born Oct. 3, 1941, in Gaines, W.Va., to George and Virginia Mick. She was married to James C. Chambers for 60 years.

She had been a Christian for many years and was an active member at New Covenant Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband: James C. Chamber; son: James Chamber II; daughter: Lisa Chambers Musto; grandson: Brandon Tyler Davis; granddaughters: Anna Chambers and Rachael Chambers; chosen grandson: Otto Ruiz; sisters: Sharon Harrah and Debra Mick.

The funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, 2020, at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Glen Stewart and Santo Ruiz officiating. Burial was at Arab Memorial Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel directing.

Pallbearers will include Mrs. Chamber’s beloved TESA students.

In lieu of flowers an account has been set up to benefit James Chambers at Bancorp South.
