Richard Ralph Hineman, 73, of the Georgia Mountain community died Friday, Jan. 15, 2021, at his residence.

Mr. Hineman was born Jan. 10, 1948, in Beloit, Wis., to Ralph Daniel and Gertrude Alvina Luetkens Hineman.

He served in the United States Army from 1969-1971 and was a military police officer at Fort Rucker. He worked with the company that is now Hyco in Wisconsin and transferred to Arab in the 70s. He was still working with Hyco at the time of his death.

He is survived by his children and in-laws: Duane Richard Hineman of Guntersville, Daniel John and Jennifer Hineman of Madison and Michelle and Jason Hayes of Union Grove; brothers and sisters-in-law: Ron and Pam Hineman and Gary and Diane Hineman of Wisconsin; grandchildren: Chandler Logan Hineman, John Riley Hineman, Jace Dalton Hayes and Bryant Daniel Hayes; children’s mother: Phyllis Hineman; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by a grandson: Joshua Daniel Hineman.

The funeral was at 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18, 2021, at Gober Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Roy Miller officiating and Gober Funeral Chapel directing.
