Ray Oden, 79, of Union Grove died Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Falkville Health Care.
Mr. Oden was born April 21, 1944, in Marshall County to Norman Ray Oden and Pearlie May Griggs Oden. He was married to Alice Faye Nix Oden, who passed away Jan. 27, 2019.
He was retired from Gold Kist.
He is survived by his daughter: Tracy Sayers and husband David; grandchildren: Miranda Brown and Corey Brown.
The funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Gober Funeral Chapel with Derek Sherrill officiating. Burial was in Oleander Cemetery with Gober Funeral Chapel directing.
Pallbearers were David Sayers, Corey Brown, Tim Hardy, Leamon Hardy, Phillip Bates and James Nix. Honorary pallbearers were James Earl Wilson and Kenneth Bates.
