Early Ray LeCroy, 74, of Arab died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2019, at Huntsville Hospital.

Mr. LeCroy was born Nov. 16, 1945, in Arab to Early Verdell LeCroy and Cordie Tanner LeCroy. He was married to the former Katie Boles, who preceded him in death.

Before retiring he worked as a custodian for the Arab City Schools.

He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law: Penny and Pat Stratton and Alisha Henson and Craig Lands of Arab; sister and brother-in-law: Diane and Joe Willingham of Arab; grandchildren: Courtney Bowen, Bubba Johnson and Kristin Lands; great-grandchildren: Ashley Bowen, Anna Bowen, Emma Harbin and Natalie White; nephew: Rodney Willingham.

He was preceded in death by a nephew: Terry Willingham.

The funeral was at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, 2019, at Gober Funeral Chapel with Joey Staton officiating. The family elected cremation to follow the service with Gober Funeral Chapel assisting the family.
