Phillip Wayne Haynes, age 65, of Arab, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at his residence.

Mr. Haynes was born on October 23, 1953 in Marshall County to Donald Alvis Haynes and Maudine Fleming Haynes. He retired from Midwest Logistics where he was a truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and loved on his dog Molly. Mr. Haynes loved gospel music, serving the Lord and his church family.

He was a member of Union Hill F.C.M Church and served as a deacon.

Mr. Haynes is survived by his wife of 46 years, Johnelle Haynes; daughters and sons-in-law, Tanya Conkle and Brian, Brandy Westbrook and Randall; grandchildren, Trevor Conkle, Candace Conkle, Blake Westbrook, Landon Westbrook; brothers and sister-in-law, Larry Dunn and Ruby, Bruce Dunn; sisters, Rita Recchia, Sharion Marion; Preceded in death by his parents, Donald Alvis Haynes and Maudine Fleming Haynes; brother, Jim Haynes; sister, Sandy Griggs.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2019 at union Hill F.C.M. Church with Bro. Jeff Rowan, Bro. Jon Minyard, officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.

Pallbearers were Trevor Conkle, Blake Westbrook, Landon Westbrook, Fred Prosser, Tommy Blakely, Jimmy Miller.

Honorary pallbearers were deacons of Union Hill F.C.M. Church.
