Patricia Holaway

Patricia Causey Holaway, 88, of Arab died Saturday, March 20, 2021.

Ms. Holaway was born Aug. 27, 1932, in Blount County to Byron Causey and Thelma Lipham Causey. She was married to Delton “Buck” Leon Holaway, who preceded her in death.

She was a devoted member of the New Canaan Baptist Church in Arab and enjoyed reading, canning, gardening, bird watching, Auburn football, Atlanta Braves baseball and sitting on her patio. She loved the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Steven and Anna Holway and Mark and Anita Holaway; daughters and sons-in-law: Donna and Pierce Ennis, Pamela and James Jordan; brother and sister-in-law: Don and Loura Causey; sisters and brothers-in-law: Maxine and Paul Jordan; Colleen Hayes, Mary George and Jan Smith and Jimmy Glenn; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and another on the way.

She was preceded in death by a son: Nicky Holaway; brother: Byron Causey; and sister: Louise Snow.

Visitation will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 26, 2021, at New Canaan Baptist Church in Arab followed by the service at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel directing.

Pallbearers were Nicholas Jordan, Justin Ennis, Andrew Ennis, John Edward Jordan, Luke Bailey, Austin Bailey and Walker Bailey.

Memorials may be made to the New Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
