Michael Adam Dew, 39, of Arab died Tuesday, June 16, 2020.
Mr. Dew was born Aug. 3, 1980, in Dyersburg, Tenn.
He was a vibrant young man who was loved by everyone who met him. He was a very selfless man who enjoyed the little things in life.
He completed high school and chose to pursue a career as a machinist operator. He enjoyed learning new and interesting things, reading anything he could about history, writing poetry, was very active in underground music and bands, loved animals and had a very big heart.
He is survived by his mother: Rebecca Lee Darmer; girlfriend: Savannah Jones; grandmother: Ivalee Darmer; great aunts and great uncles: Bill and Catherine Darmer, Ben and Sue Darmer and Dorothy and Rodney Geno; and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather: James Darmer.
The memorial service was at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2020, at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Gary McRae officiating. Burial was in Rock Springs Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel directing.
Honorary pallbearers were Keith Miles, Shane Maze, Jonathan Ogle, Zach Erwin, Justin Hobbs, Sean Shepherd, Brad Bruner and Josh Dickerson.
