Mary Ruth Green

Mary Ruth Green, 90, of Arab died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2021.

Mrs. Green was born July 30, 1931, in Lynn, Ky., to Lawrence McKinley Victor and Jesse Bell Howlard Victor. She was married to Raymond Green, who preceded her in death.

She worked at home taking care of her family. She enjoyed watching westerns and game shows and putting together jigsaw puzzles. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She was a resident of Ludlow Falls, Ohio and moved to Arab four years ago and was a member of Old Brashiers Chapel Church in Arab.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law: Roxann Darst Arrington, Yvonne Lynn and Bob Charles; sister and brother-in-law: Jesse Jeannette and Joe Fisher; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son: Robert Walter Darst; brothers: Edward Victor, Richard Victor, Lawrence Victor; sisters: Ida Louise Reason, Betty Jean Weaver, Barbara Nellie Owens.

The funeral was at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Josh Garmany officiating. Burial was in Miami Memorial Park Cemetery in Covington, Ohio, with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel handling the local arrangements.
