Marlon “Marty” Keith Jackson, 55, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021, at Shepherds Cove Hospice.
Mr. Jackson was born Nov. 23, 1965, in Marshall County to Melvin Bruce Jackson and Emma Mae Shaver Jackson.
He grew up in Albertville and became a resident of Arab in the early 90s. He worked for the City of Arab in the public works department before becoming disabled.
He enjoyed fishing and going to trade day. He loved his nieces and nephews and was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan.
He is survived by his son: Brandon Wayne Jackson; daughter: Sara “Cassie” Bushong; brother: Mitch Jackson; sisters and brothers-in-law: Melva and Joel Helms, Marsha Jackson, Kimberly and Eric Davis; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The funeral was at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 8, 2021, at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Joel Helms officiating. Burial was in Mount Olive Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel directing.
Pallbearers were David Lee Shaver, Ian Davis, Chris Christian, Adam Christian and Wyatt Adams.
