Martha Kennamer

Martha Jan Kennamer, 72, of Guntersville died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021, at her residence.

Mrs. Kennamer was born Feb. 16, 1949, in Arab to J.W. Solley and Thelma Irene Screws Solley.

She was 1967 graduate of Arab High School and a retired contract specialist for SMDC.

She was a member of Gilliam Springs Baptist Church, but for the past few years had been attending Guntersville Church of Christ.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Jason and Marci Coker, daughter-in-law: Crystal Coker; grandchildren: Haley Coker, Jordan Coker and Allie Coker; brother: Beamon Solley; sisters and brothers-in-law: Glynell Davis, Brenda and Max Harper and Vickie and Greg Yarbrough; step children and in-laws: Connie and Glen Zinder and Brad and Lamanda Kennamer.

She was preceded in death by a son: Allen Coker; and husbands: Dan Faircloth and David Kennamer.

The funeral was at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021, at Gober Funeral Chapel with Max Roden officiating. Burial was in Gilliam Springs Cemetery with Gober Funeral Chapel directing.

Pallbearers were Shane Davis, Chad Gilreath, John Luke Gilreath, Corey Yarbrough, Reagan Haymon and Ryan Haymon.
