Marion M. Niemeyer, 76, died Tuesday, March 21, 2023 in Union Grove.
Ms. Niemeyer was born Dec. 11, 1946, in Erie, Pa., to Robert and Ida (Mitchelen) Niemeyer.
She graduated from Harbor Creek High School in 1965. She worked as an inspector for LORD Corporation for over 42 years. She was a resident of the Erie area for a vast majority of her life, but moved to Union Grove, in 2016 to be closer to her only son and grandchildren.
She was a member of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls (Rainbow Girls) in Erie and a member of the Amanda King Chapter 472 Order of the Eastern Star in Arab.
She loved gardening, tending to her flowers and looking out her windows at all the pretty bright colors while she knitted. Much to the benefit of her family, she also enjoyed cooking and was a wonderful baker.
She is survived by her son: Bruce E. Niemeyer; four grandchildren: Brian (Evatatiana), Matthew, Anna, and Jay Niemeyer; four great-grandchildren: Ethan, Elden, Lauren, and Gabriel; brother: Robert (Ro) Niemeyer of Leesburg, Va., and his girls.
Arrangements were entrusted to Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
