Margaret “Susie” Estelle Thomas, 90, of the Union Hill community of Morgan City died Tuesday, 17, 2020.

Mrs. Thomas was Oct. 27, 1930, in Marshall County to Gilbert A. Prince Sr. and Mary Lois Clark Prince.  She was married to Milton V. Thomas, who preceded her in death in March 2007.

After high school, she went on to work for G.T.E. as one of their well-respected Assembly Line employees. Throughout her life, she took passion in doing things around her house, reading, watching TV, loving and caring for others and most of all spending time with her grandson. 

She is survived by her son: Roger Thomas; daughter: Pam Chaffee; grandson and in-law: Anthony and Miranda Blocker; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by seven siblings.

The funeral was at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020, at New Canaan Baptist Church with Eldridge Criscoe officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel directing.

Pallbearers were David Prince, Derrick Prince, Larry Prince, Josh Prince, Billy Prince and John Tallent.
