Mac Kindree Perrin Jr., 94 of Arab died Sunday, June 2, 2019.

Mr. Perrin was a United States Navy veteran of WWII, served as the ship’s baker and was stationed in the Aleutian Islands. He was member of Gilliam Springs Baptist Church.

He was raised in Kentucky and was one of 15 children. He and his wife lived in Arab for the past 14 years after moving from Melbourne, Fla. He worked as a car salesman for many years.

He was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars in Arab and the Disabled American Veterans of Marshall County.

Mac is survived by his wife: Barbara Perrin; daughter and son-in-law: Sandi and Larry Mercer; son: Douglas Perrin; three stepchildren and in-laws: Dawn and John Kampmeyer, Darianne and Derek Nissen, and Lenore and Joel Parsons; sisters: Dorothy True, Ruby King and Ann Foster; brother: Harold Perrin; four grandchildren and in-laws: Traci and Scott Wills, Robin and Russell Wylie, Sherri and Fred Beck and Bryan Perrin; eight step grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and five great, great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 9 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2019, at Gilliam Springs Baptist Church, followed by the celebration of life at 11 a.m.

Moss Service Funeral Home assisted the family.
