Lonnie Eugene Wyatt, 61, of Arab died at his favorite time of day, sunrise, on Sunday, May 10, 2020.

He spent most of his life working in the automotive and motorcycle industries throughout the Tennessee Valley, including the opening store manager of the AutoZone in Arab.

He was an avid motorcycle rider and enthusiast. He always felt so blessed being able to tour the country on two wheels alongside his family, friends, GWRRA, CMA, and other motorcycle groups.

He was involved in many charitable organizations and was always the first to volunteer for fundraisers and events. He never met a stranger and loved everyone. He was so full of life, love, and wisdom and was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need.

He is survived by his wife: Patty; son: Winston; sister: Sherry Roe; brother-in-law: Alton Roe; niece and her family: Holly and Jay Williams and children Becca, Ethan and Zane Stone; and nephew and his family: Tyler and Megan Roe and children Denver Roe.

He is preceded in death by parents, Omer C. and Mary Lee Wyatt of Arab.

A private family celebration will be held on a later date. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
