Kenneth Bryant, 69, died Monday, Jan. 4, 2021.

Mr. Bryant was a man of many names. He was Kenny, Daddy, Daddio, and Paw Paw Ken and Grandaddy to his grandchildren. He was Tuscarora to his tribal relations. When he became a great-grandfather he became Grandaddio. The kids on the Arab school bus called him Mister B.

He lived his life with a mischievous twinkle in his eye, a quiet smile on his face, and ever ready with a gentle word or a joke in his front pocket depending on which was needed. He was dependable for the kind of bear hugs that melt away most any kind of heartache, and wisdom for most any situation. He has long been known for his kindness, humor and service to his Native and local communities.

He is survived by his youngest daughter and her mother: Crystal Bryant and Loretta Bryant; his girlfriend and her daughter: Lisa Drinkard and Sarah Lim; four grandchildren: Lashae Bryant, Jennifer Maples, Jonathan Caldwell and Austin Brainerd; three great-grandchildren: Alyssa McCoy, Adan Bryant and Eliza Jane Maples; and many friends and relatives.

He was preceded in death by parents: Lenard and Doylee Williamson Bryant; sister: Martha Bryant; brother: Benny Bryant; two daughters: Michelle Kindler and LeeAnn Bryant; and grandson: Richard Todd.

The graveside service was at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 11, 2021, at Tidwell Cemetery with Chris Ferrell officiating and Lemley Funeral Home directing.
