Johnny Berlin Graves, 75, of Arab died Monday, May 20, 2019, at his residence.
Mr. Graves was born Nov. 10, 1943, in Marshall County to General Berlin Graves and Mary Nell Dodd Graves. He was married to the former Judy Carol King for 54 years.
He was owner and operator of Graves Tree Service. He enjoyed traveling, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the Arab Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife: Judy Graves; daughters and son-in-law: Kelly and Monty Davis and Suzanne Graves; son and daughter-in-law: Chris and Anne-Marie Graves; seven grandchildren and in-law: Ryan Davis, Erin Davis, Logan Decker, Zoie Decker, Laura Graves and Logan Sulfridge, Sam Graves, and Sarah Graves; sister and brother-in-law: Cara Painter and Greg Hudson.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Terry Graves.
The funeral was at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Ken Tyler and Demar Elam officiating. Burial was in Arab Memorial Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel directing.
Pallbearers were Ryan Davis, Logan Decker, Sam Graves, Steven Ryan, Eric Graves, Richard Whisenant, Phil Miller and Fred Dodd.
Honorary pallbearers were Jim Hendrix, William Morrow, Walt Mitchell, Bill Allen, Donny Garrett, Monty Davis, Sr., Gerald Martin, Tom Self and Arab Church of Christ Elders: Warren Smith, Todd Norris, Danny Hughes and Jeff Cavender.
