Billie Frankie Jones, 86, of the Hulaco community died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019, at Hanceville Health and Rehab.

Mrs. Jones was born Nov. 4, 1932, in Jefferson County to Charles Anderson Kennedy and Nova Jane Hipp Kennedy. She married Melton Leroy “Buck” Jones on April 25, 1953.

She enjoyed tending to her garden, flowers and going to yard sales or thrift stores. She loved the photography business and was owner of Karivan Studios, Inc. She was always witnessing to others, helping people. She loved her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband: Melton L. “Buck” Jones; son and daughter-in-law: Terry M. and Kelley Jones; daughter: Linda G. Jones; brother: J.C. Kennedy; sister and brother-in-law: Bobbye Frances and Allen Needham; and host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a host of brothers and sisters.

The graveside service was at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, 2019, at Ryan Baptist Church with Michael King officiating and Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel directing.
