Faye Nell Edmondson Jordan, 84, of Arab died Saturday, March 11, 2023, at her residence.
Mrs. Jordan was born Sept. 15, 1938, in Dekalb County to Romie Odell Stephens and Bessie Irene Jones Stephens. She was married to Hershel Edmondson, who preceded her in death in November 1977. She then married Herbert Earl Jordan and was married 37 years at the time of his passing June 9, 2017.
She was a member of Rocky Mount Primitive Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children: Deborah Lewis, Marsha Tidmore (Johnny), Keith Edmondson (Diane) and Dennis Edmondson; stepchildren: Tammy Clack (Aaron), Sherri Mims (Michael) and Michael Jordan (Tanya); seven grandchildren; eight step grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sisters: Kay Mier and Ann Hawkins; and brother: Terry Stephens (Sharon).
She was preceded in death by a brother: Jimmy Stephens
The funeral was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Rocky Mountin Primitive Baptist Church with Matt Jordan officiating. Burial was in Brookwood Cemetery with Gober Funeral Chapel directing.
Pallbearers were Cory Mills, David Lewis, Adam Lewis, Bryan Edmondson, Jeremy Edmondson and Adam Thrower.
