Faye Butler

Faye Joyce Butler, 85, of Arab died Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at her residence.

Ms. Butler was born Dec. 25, 1935, to Gayle Tousey and Mrytle Howe McElroy. She was married to Billy Butler Sr., who preceded her in death.

She was a registered member of the Stockbridge Muncee Band of Mohican Indians. She liked to go fishing, watch the birds and going to karaoke.  She loved her family and her dog, Pooh, very much.

She is survived by her children and in-laws: Nacoma and Mickey Morrow, Tina Marie and Mike Walker, Ione and Richard Maze, Louann and David Ambrose, Tony and Wendy Tousey; 17 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and five great, great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother: Gary Lee Tousey Sr.; children: Billy Butler Jr., Ramona Harris, Naomie Gregory, Gary Lee Tousey Jr.; and granddaughter: Aubrey Chershire.

The funeral was at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel. Burial was in Iron City Cemetery with Anniston with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel directing.
