Eunice Hyatt

Eunice Reba King Hyatt, 98, of Arab died Friday, July 30, 2021, at Diversicare of Arab.

Mrs. Hyatt, one of nine children, was born March 26, 1923, to Thomas B. King and Mattie Miller King. She was married to John Wilson “Booster” Hyatt, who preceded her in death Nov. 25, 1997. 

She was a lifetime member of the Ruth Baptist Church and as her health permitted, she was a faithful attendee at the Arab Senior Center.

She is survived by her step children: Andy Hyatt and John Hyatt; five step grandchildren; a host of step great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her siblings: Richard King, Cleo King, Cecil King, Clarence King, Leonard King, Hershel King, Ruby Rutledge and Icle Hyatt.

The graveside service was at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 1, 2021, at Mount Oak/Ruth Cemetery with Radford Pritchett officiating and Gober Funeral Chapel directing.
