Emma King Cousins, 80, of Arab died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019, at Hospice Family Care of Huntsville.
Mrs. Cousins was born Jan. 9, 1939, to James Henry King and Lottie Ruth Bunch King in Marshall County. She was married to Philip Stanley Cousins for 30-plus years.
She was the vice president of Diversified Electronics in Morgan City. She had a wide range in interest that included crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, sewing, crafts, and loved watching birds.
She was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Cousins is survived by her husband: Philip Cousins; son and daughter-in-law: Steven and Kathryn Spencer; daughters and sons-in-law: Billie Jean Spencer, Karen Ann and Doug Clark, Donna Sue and Randy Thornton; stepson: Scott Cousins; stepdaughter and son-in-law: Christy and Tim Pratt; brothers: Bob King, David King, Danny Glass; sister and brother-in-law: Lottie Sue and Phillip Saraceno; 19 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother: James Hugh King; and sisters: Peggy Martin, Diane Bearden.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, 2019, at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with David Norton and Chris Herbert, officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Saraceno Jr., Barry King, Ben King, Jamie King, Todd King and Nathaniel Glass.
Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Schultz, Ted Monroe, Chris King, Scott Butler and Dee Porch.
