Edward Prentice

Edward Van Prentice, 60, of Arab, died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2021.

Mr. Prentice was born Sept. 20, 1961, in Marshall County to Marie Jones Albright and Eddie Richard Prentice.

He worked in the construction industry in his earlier years also living in Pulaski, Tenn., and Centerville. He enjoyed fishing in his leisure time and gardening. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Arab.

He is survived by his mother: Marie Albright; son: Ruben Dick Van Prentice; daughters and son-in-law: Tabatha Paquette, Megan and Paul Thompson; Casci Prentice; brothers and sister-in-law: Ricky Prentice, Rodney and Vickie Prentice; sister: Maria Morrow; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a stepfather: Bobby Lee Albright.

The graveside service was at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8, 2021, at Brookwood Cemetery with Kenneth Smith officiating and Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel directing.

Pallbearers were Jason Prentice, Michael Prentice, Pelham Prentice, Blake Kelly and Devin Parsons.
