Snow

Donald Boyd Snow Sr., 72, of Arab died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020, at his residence.

Mr. Snow was born July 5, 1948, in Marshall County to Boyd and Virginia Leak Snow. He was married to the former Jeanette Kimbrough for 53 years.

He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He loved his family and spending time with them. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He began working at Ashburn and Gray at 17 and retired in 2010 after 45 years.

He is survived by his wife: Jeanette Snow; children and in-laws: Donald Boyd Jr. and Sonya Snow, Kellie Anita and Kenneth Bennefield, Jerry Thomas and Tara Snow, Jacque Wayne and Meredith Snow; grandchildren and in-laws: Mary Elizabeth and Aaron Balderas, Ashlynne Kara Rivers and Triston Charles, Alex Ray Bennefield, Haley Nicole Bennefield, Kyleigh Rose Snow, Sarah Jessica Bennefield and Timothy Donald Snow; sisters and brother-in-law: Rebecca Lee Pace, Myrtie Virginia and Donald Hayes, Mary Jane Snow, Brenda Diane Snow and Linda Ruth Brooks; special family: Whitney Snow.

He was preceded in death by brothers: Dallas Edward Snow and Billy Wayne Snow; and brothers-in-law: Jack Pace and Jimmy Brooks.

The funeral was at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, at Gober Funeral Chapel with Greg Stone officiating. Burial was in Sweet Home Cemetery with Gober Funeral Chapel directing.

Pallbearers were Philip Brooks, Kholtin Payne, Jerry Kimbrough, Kenneth Bennefield, Alex Bennefield, and James Bennefield.

Honorary pallbearer was Jerry Kimbrough Sr.
