Coy W. Holaway, 90, of Jacksonville, Fla., died Saturday, April 27, 2019, at his residence.

Mr. Holaway was born Sept. 20, 1928, in Arab to Floyd D. and Fleecie B. Maze. He was married to Jo Holoway

He lived in Florida since 1981. He was retired from CSX Railroad, was a member of the National Transportation Association and Lion’s Club.

He is survived by his wife: Jo Holaway of Jacksonville, Fla.; daughters and sons-in-law: Leah Hudson and Samuel Hall Jr. of Jacksonville Beach, Fla., Robin and Even Zillmer of Jacksonville, Kay and Charles Everhart of Palos Verdes Estates, Calif., and Jayme and Steve Hicks of Lawrenceville, Ga.; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister and brother-in-law: Glenette and Chuck Bailey of Marshalltown, Iowa.

The funeral was at 11 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2019, at Gober Funeral Chapel with Greg Stone officiating. Burial was in Arab Memorial Cemetery with Gober Funeral Chapel directing.
