Burlon Dillard Moore, 74, of Valhermoso Springs died Friday, May 15, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Moore was a cosmetologist in the Huntsville area for 34 years. He was United States Air Force veteran and volunteered with the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his sisters and brother-in-law: Peggy Moore Thompson, Linda and Bob Elliott and Iris Moore Fowler; brothers: Bobby Moore and Jerry Moore; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Freeman “Sip” Moore and Pearl Lee Moore; sisters: Hilda Lenox, Maggie Lou Moore, Hattie Hall, Edna Whisenant and Nancy Moore Johnston; and brothers: Billy Moore and Carl Whisenant.

The graveside service was at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at Hugh Cemetery in Lacey’s Spring with Brindlee Mountain Chapel and Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel directing.

Pallbearers were Thomas Parsons, Russell Parsons, Mike Moore, Bob Hopkins, Daniel Johnston and Daniel Fowler.
