Brenda Gay Tomasello, 68, of Blountsville died Thursday, July, 4, 2019.

Ms. Tomasello was born March 25, 1951, in Chicago, Ill., to James and Margaret Carter.

She lived the final seven years of her life in the Roswell community of Blount County. She devoted her entire life to being a mother and always made her family her first priority.

She is survived by her fiancé: Angelo Griziano Sr.; six sons and daughters-in-law: Anton James Tomasello and fiancé  Amanda Newman, Daniel J. and Laura Tomasello, Ben and Erica Tomasello, Adam C. and Jacqueline Tomasello, Mark R. Tomasello and Matthew I. Tomasello, two step-sons: Angelo Griziano Jr., and Donald James Griziano; daughter: Tina M. Tomasello; 21 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by a brother: Jimmy Meade; two sisters: Maxine Hubbard and Juanita Rice; one grandson: Carter Tomasello; and one child: Baby Tomasello.

The funeral was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Jake Hendon and Matthew Tomasello officiating. Burial was in Arab Memorial Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel directing.

Pallbearers were Anton Tomasello, Daniel Tomasello, Ben Tomasello, Mark Tomasello, Matthew Tomasello, Adam Tomasello, Angelo Griziano Jr., and Donald James Griziano.
