Deborah Homan needs help.

The 61-year-old had a house fire this week and needs volunteers to help clean and repair.

It was an electrical fire and most of the damage was to the living room area.

Homan is on a fixed income and has no homeowners insurance.

“It made a really big mess and I don’t know what I’m going to do,” she said. “I’ve been in a hotel and that’s about to run out. I could really use the help. I’ve never had to go through anything like this.”

She said she is asking for volunteers to help with the clean up from the fire, smoke and water damage.

“I really need the clean up help now, then I’ll need some electrical help later on.”

Homan moved here from California a year ago.
