Brindlee Mountain Primary School

Brindlee Mountain Primary School – devastated by Saturday’s tornado – will be rebuilt.

Marshall County Schools Superintendent told the Tribune Monday that the board plans to rebuild the school and more details will be released later this week.

All three Brindlee Mountain Schools – primary, elementary and high school – are closed for the remainder of this week.

Beginning Monday, some of those 260 students will be sent to Brindlee Mountain Elementary School in Grassy, but most will go to the former Brindlee Mountain Middle School building at Brindlee Mountain High School, Wigley said.

It’s amazing that no one was injured.

On Saturday, tornadoes hit Union Grove, Joppa, Baileyton and Holly Pond leaving behind paths of destruction, but no injuries or fatalities.
