Extra Arab police officers will be on duty Wednesday morning – all week really – making sure students get back to school safely and motorists follow traffic laws.

School starts back Wednesday morning in Arab and Brindlee Mountain schools.

“We want everyone to get where they need to be safely – but especially our students,” said Arab Police Assistant Chief Shane Washburn. “We want to remind everyone to slow down in school zones and bus zones.”
