Two people have been arrested and a third is expected to be in two fraud cases in Arab.

The incidents were reported on Aug. 29 and Aug. 18.

Those arrested were:

• Tracy Lamar Welch, 45, of Hartselle;

• Mykel Trai Branson Welch, 22, of Hartselle.

Each is charged with two counts of “fraud, swindle home repair,” a relatively new law in Alabama.

Each count is a class A misdemeanor.
