An Arab High School student was arrested Monday after allegedly biting and kicking an Arab police officer at the school.
Then on Tuesday, Arab police investigated a possible threat but found no viability to it.
According to Arab Police Chief Shane Washburn, the troubles began when a female student was suspended last week for an unspecified infraction.
On Monday the student and her grandmother were meeting with school administrators when the student allegedly became combative.
When the officer got involved, she allegedly kicked and bit him.
The student was taken into custody and taken to Arab City Jail before being transferred to a juvenile holding facility.
She was charged with second-degree assault.
