The number 9 story of 2020 has been ranked before – several times, in fact.

The Arab High School wrestling team captured its eighth state championship in February 2020.

The team was crowned the state champion at Von Braun Center in Huntsville.

Arab’s wrestling team dominated the Class 1A-5A state tournament capturing the team title on a Friday while sending a school-record six wrestlers to Saturday’s championship finals.

It was the school’s eighth traditional state title and 11th overall, including three duals championships.
