Scarecrows on Main is back!

Join in the fun by participating in this year’s Scarecrows on Main. It lets businesses and families compete for blue ribbons and bragging rights by building themed scarecrows that will be placed along Main Street in Downtown Arab.

Scarecrows must be “family friendly” and submitted by 6 pm on Sept. 30.

There is no cost to enter.

Some of the rules are:

• Must be weather proofed by making sure all parts of the scarecrow are firmly attached.

• Must be family friendly.
