The Pink Pumpkin Race is back in person this year.

The Foundation for Marshall Medical Centers announced recently the 12th Annual Pink Pumpkin Run to benefit mammography and cancer services at Marshall Medical Centers, will be the traditional in-person run. Last year’s was virtual.

The race, in which participants are asked to dress up in Halloween costumes, is set for Saturday, Oct. 30, and will include a 5K, 10K and 1-mile fun run.

The races are set for the Guntersville Civitan Park.

“We are excited to welcome everyone back to in-person racing, but are still battling the ever-evolving challenge of Covid-19,” says Andrea Oliver, director of the Foundation for Marshall Medical Centers. “We will be relying on everyone’s understanding, cooperation and common sense to help create an experience that is safe and enjoyable for all.”
