The Alabama COVID-19 vaccine scheduling hotline continues to receive a massive call volume, including more than 1.1 million calls in the first day of being open to the public.

Officials are asking residents who do not qualify for the vaccine yet to please not call.

Marshall Medical Centers is only accepting appointments on-line.

“Because of the overwhelming amount of calls, our target population cannot get through to schedule their appointments,” said a press release from the state health department.
