Arab Mayor Bob Joslin, Arab Economic Development Coordinator Melissa Cook and Arab Chamber of Commerce President Brooke Hemphill recently attended the International Council of Shopping Centers Conference in Las Vegas.

“The conference not only went well, but two developers have already contacted us and will be here in the next two weeks to look at the city’s 21 acres on U.S. 231,” said Joslin. “We’ve certainly had better results this time and they know all about our demographics, so hopefully something can happen with that.”

Joslin also told the council that some “potential interest” has been shown in the building where the Snead State extension is located on South Main Street.
