The Arab area got about an inch less of rainfall in May than it normally does. At Pine Lake Village, Ed Reed measured 4.48 inches, about an inch below the 5.5-inch norm.

So far in 2019, Reed has measured:

• January – 7.91;

• February – 12.36;

• March – 4.92;

• April – 6.36;

• May – 4.48;

• Total – 36.03
