Joslin seeking reelection

Touting his record of accomplishments the past eight years, Arab Mayor Bob Joslin announced this week he is seeking a third term.

Arab municipal elections are scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 25.

The mayor and all five council seats will be on the ballot. None of the incumbent council members have announced their intentions.

Joslin sent the following announcement to the Tribune:

“With the beginning of a new year, and in light of the fact that I thoroughly enjoy seeing the progress that has been made regarding infrastructure, jobs, business expansions and overall appearance of our city, I am formally announcing my plan to run for reelection as mayor,” he said.
