The two hospitals in Marshall County – Marshall Medical Center North and South – are not COVID-19 testing sites.

“Our number one priority is testing for patients and staff who are vitally important to providing patient care,” said a press release from the hospital system.

Only symptomatic patients who come to the emergency department and inpatients are being tested.

“Please do not come to the hospital for COVID-19 testing if you don’t have symptoms,” the release said.

If you are advised by your employer or a physician to be tested, a complete map showing available sites with addresses, phone numbers is on the Alabama Department of Public Health website: www.alabamapublichealth.gov/covid19.
