Kamesha Jones was named Arab City Schools’ Elementary Teacher of the Year for the 2018-2019 school year. She teaches at Arab Elementary School.

The following is a feature story on Jones The Tribune asked two of her students, Addy Landry and Brionna Cox, to write.

Both are students in Jones’ fifth grade language arts and social studies classes.

Addy is the daughter of Brian and Kim Landry, and Brionna is the daughter of Robert Cox and Cynthia McCain.

Mrs. Kamesha Jones was awarded the Arab Elementary School Teacher of the Year Award for the 2018-2019 school year.

She really deserves this very honorable award.
