The “dancing Christmas lights” at Joe and Jody Gilliland’s home will continue this year for the 12th straight year. It’s become a holiday tradition for a lot of families to visit the Gilliland Family Light Show every Christmas.

The lights blink and flash synchronized to music played on 107.1 radio, allowing families to sit in their cars, listen to the Christmas music and watch the light show.

The Gilliland home is at 400 Hillside Drive off Eddy-Scant City Road between Arab and Guntersville.

The show doesn’t play on rainy nights.

Joe worries there might be a short if the weather is wet.
